This verse describes how God watches over and protects all who choose to follow him. As stated in the first line of this verse, God redeems those who serve him, meaning he saves those who follow him from temptation, and from evil. God have never-ending forgiveness for those who fall to sin and seek redemption. If we choose to lead our lives in God’s light, he will watch over us, and ensure that we do not fall to evil.
