In Nehemiah 8:10, it says to go enjoy ourselves, and to have a good time. The verse says that we as Christians should enjoy our food, drink sweet drinks, and make sure to give to others who may have nothing. The verse emphasizes the fact that "Today" is special to God and that he is happy, meaning we should mirror these feelings and enjoy our day. God gives us strength so that when we face obstacles in life, we search for joy in God's presence and share this joy with others who maybe struggling. God's strength and happiness passes onto us, and this joy inspires us to keep going on and prevail through tough times.
