1 Peter 3:8 explained

Peter uses this verse to start a new section of his letter. In this verse, Peter is speaking to all followers of God. He is expressing what characteristics we must have towards one another to truly be faithful. To be like-minded as a Christian is to all share a single way of life, and to follow God's teachings. To be compassionate is to feel for and support all other believers in life. To be loving as brothers is to treat other Christians as though they are your family. To be tenderhearted is to show love and want only what is good for others, and to be courteous is to support one another, and humble ourselves enough to put our own agendas aside to help another. Following these guidelines to a holy life and choosing to live beside other Christians in this way will grant you God's eternal love and blessings.
