Romans 6:14 explained

In this verse, sin is described as something which holds no power over followers of the Lord. When Jesus suffered and was crucified, we as followers of God, we're forgiven for our sins, while also being released form any power sin may have over us in the future. Jesus died so that we would be free from sin, and he left us under the grace of God. We must show thanks for what Jesus did by not falling to sin's temptations, and leading a faithful life.
