Ecclesiastes 7:9 explained

This verse describes the strength that we as Christians need to follow in order to remain on a Holy path in life. Sin commonly can be misinterpreted as only lying or falling under the influence of evil, but sin also includes falling to our emotions such as anger, and taking this anger out one another. The first part of this verse is meant to represent the patience Christians must have when it comes to dealing with anger. We must not let our anger fuel a reaction and give evil exactly what it wants. Instead, we as faithful followers must believe in God to let go of our anger, and give forgiveness in our fellow man. Only when we have the strength to let our anger subside, will we truly understand how God’s forgiveness prevails.
