To “delight yourself in Yahweh,” means to find joy in blessings that God gives you. This is often understood in the wrong way, where readers think that we as followers of God should find delight in the blessings we get themselves. Although we should find joy in the blessings it is important to find true delight in the fact that these blessings come from God. Only then can we fully appreciate the magnitude of these blessings and be true believers. It is not enough to only appreciate the blessings, but we must also appreciate God himself for giving us these blessings.
