Humble yourselves therefore under the almighty hand of God, means that God is the reason we are given life, and therefore we need to put our pride aside to appreciate all which he has given us. He is the reason for the life we are given, and he takes on our hardships so that we may find peace within ourselves and our lives. He cares for each individual deeply and we must turn to him to lead a faithful life full of love. God will always provide for us, so in our times of need we must humble ourselves and go to him.
