Mark 1:8 explainedIn this verse Mark is first explaining Jesus’ baptism. Jesus’ baptism showed that he was being cleansed as the son of God and had come to be our savior. In the same light, when we as faithful followers of God get baptized our souls are also cleansed. This cleansing displays that we are choosing to let God’s teachings guide us through our lives.
