In Proverbs 18:10 it says that the name of the Lord is like a "strong tower", where people can "run" to find protection and comfort. This verse explains that as Christians, we should have trust in God and go to him when we need guidance. When we do so, we are met with safety security. By comparing God to a tower, we are able to understand that God is similar to a tower as his protection is solid and unwavering. God's name gives us a strong feeling of stability. This verse reminds Christians that we can turn to God in times of trouble, and that in him we can always find refuge.
