In this verse, David is telling describing how the Lord will always come in our times of need. When in distress David found him self in the ground face up, and instead of accepting defeat he looked up and prayed. He called upon God to aid him and get him through this trying time. In times of need we must follow this path as well, and seek God’s love and wisdom in order to endure. God will always give help and strength to those who pray to him and remain faithful. He is there for all in times of happiness as well as times of hardship and grief.
