This verse is explaining the importance of remaining faithful. As followers of the Lord we are called upon to walk a certain path in life. We are expected to remain holy and faithful throughout our lives, and remain as such until we are able to be seated beside the Lord at the end of our lives. Those who remain true are referred to as “righteous” just as this verse shows. Those who are righteous find everlasting peace and happiness, and are blessed to receive God’s never ending love.
