In the verse He says that a good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. This means that the things we do in our lives show what kind of person we are inside. Similarly to how you can tell what a tree is by looking at its fruit, you can judge a person by their actions. In this verse Jesus reminds us to be good and do good things, because that's what makes us good people on the inside. As Christians, our actions are like the fruit that reflects who we are as a person inside and out.
