This verse explains the importance of confession. God accepts that human beings are not perfect, and that they may stray from a Holy path in life. He allows those who are faithful and believe in him to speak to him through prayer. We must trust in God and his mercy to forgive us when we sin and fall to evil. Only he has the power to give us another chance and the power to turn us back in the right direction.
