This verse explains what our faith as followers of God should embody. Having a relationship with God empowers us to act as he does, and to follow in his footsteps. The Lord calls on us to "act justly," and to "love mercy." We must humble ourselves to walk beside God and do as he does for us. We must treat others with the same love and respect that we want from them. To be truly faithful, we must look beyond our own lives, and spread good works to those around us.
