This verse is given at the end of David's declaration. He closes his statements by explaining how God is the highest power and the most almighty force there is. He describe's his strength and his ability to bestow this strength on people of faith who follow him as sacred. When we are in need of strength to go through hard times in our life we must look to God, for hw will provide us with such and give us peace. It is easy to give into temptation and fall to sin, but we must overcome this and look to God to remain true to ourselves and truly find peace.
